many many began with a simple obsession: that a lot of small, simple parts can add up to something you can't stop looking at.

Eric Daigh has spent years working in exactly that space. His pushpin portraits and mosaics are built from thousands of individual points — each one almost nothing on its own, all of them together becoming a face, an image, a presence. Step close and you see the pieces; step back and you see the whole. That tension, between the part and the picture, is the thread that runs through everything here.

Marcel is where that idea becomes something you hold. A maple board, a magnetic grid, and a set of colorful blocks that arrange into letters, faces, landscapes, mosaics, games — and then sweep away so you can begin again. It's the mosaic instinct made tactile and endlessly rearrangeable: many small things, one good object, your hands.

The name says it plainly. many many is about multiplicity — the many blocks in a single board, the many ways to arrange them, the many things one set of simple parts can become.

Everything is designed and made in Michigan by Eric. We believe a quiet room is the best frame: paint the walls white and let the things you love be loud. Marcel is the first of many.
